Going to Texas later this year.  Actually it's not too far away now.  We are soo looking forward to seeing family that is out of state.  It's been more than a year since going out to visit the last time, and more than six months since seeing my brother and his family.  The last time was for my father's funeral. And even though it was a sad time, it could have been much worse but dad had a longer life than he deserved given all the chances he took, and all the things that went wrong with him.  I loved my father, and I still miss him.
